I write books for children. My greatest joy is seeing them happy, hearing them laugh, watching them learn and grow. It’s hard for me to imagine anyone wanting to harm a child, but it happens all too often.
After the horrible tragedy that recently took place in Texas at Robb Elementary School, I just wanted you all to know that I’m thinking of you and wishing you a safer, better world than the one we live in. I plan to do whatever I can to help make that world a reality. In the meantime, my heart goes out to all the families of the victims, and to everyone affected by this senseless violence–which is all of us. ❤️
